The tag only can be purchased without a trespass fee on this ranch detailed below, if you have a good ranch to hunt. The buyer can hunt the ranch where the tag is issued but should be aware of the low deer density during the fall as we move our large sheep herd onto the ranch for their winter grounds. The ranch described below is a great option to add to the tag for high success and great fall unit 3 Colorado deer hunting experience.
Location: This ranch is located in Units 3/301 which is just near Craig, Colorado.
Terrain: Large open areas with rolling hills. Sagebrush can be found among the rolling hills. There are plenty of alfalfa fields and hay meadows that are great areas for locating the bigger game. In the higher elevations, you will find Juniper trees.
Access: Two-track roads are numerous for ATV access as ATVs are allowed on this ranch.
Lodging: The ranch does have designated spots where hunters may camp in a tent or an RV. There is NO electricity at the site and NO showers. There is no running water provided. There are also a few more private areas for hunters to set up camps if needed. There is also a covered area where hunters may skin their prize trophy deer. There is one outhouse at Gate 10 for use by our hunters.

This is a great father son hunt or even better a way to introduce your wife or daughter to the outdoors.
No landowner will show you around prior to hunt but you are on you own.
Mostly moderate with some a little rougher.
Yes but you must stay on the roads and seek permission to retrieve your game off road.
