About the Ranch: The antelope tag is issued on a small working ranch. Each year starting late summer we bring our sheep herds off the adjacent BLM and begin working them in preparation for winter. The size of the ranch coupled with the sheep and our ranch hands being on-site almost every day during the antelope season make it a poor choice for hunting. We prefer that you have a quality hunt and feel that for you to enjoy the success that prior to the purchase of this tag you acquire additional access to another private parcel in unit 3 or 301.
Amenities: There are several amenities available to you during your hunt. With numerous hotels, at least 1 campground, and a few grocery stores available you are sure to find anything you will need during your stay.
Terrain: Overall access is easy and 4WD is not necessary for most areas. Lower elevations consist mostly of sage and sage steep. Expect zero to light snow cover in 1st and 2nd seasons. Later seasons bring moderate snow.

Hunters wishing to purchase this antelope tag in Colorado unit 3/301 need to have a better ranch to hunt. There is very low numbers of antelope on the property from late summer through the fall. The ranch is a working sheep ranch and owner brings the sheep onto this parcel each fall.
