Colorado Secondary Big Game Draw Changes

This new draw system offers two additional species compared to last year, Bear and Pronghorn. Also, new for this year if you did not participate in the primary draw you can still submit an application for this secondary draw. Youth hunters also have an increased chance of getting selected for the draw. All youth applications will be processed before the system continues to the adult applications.

Several policies remain the same from the old leftover draw system. For example you will still have to pay the application fee whether you receive a draw or not. You must also possess a qualifying Colorado license.

Colorado Leftover Day

If there are any remaining licenses not granted during the Primary and Secondary Draw processes they will be available on Leftover Day. These will be available on the leftover list beginning August 6, 2020 at 9:00 AM Mountain Time.
