Goods for the Woods has been offering Durango high quality outdoor gear since 1987. We are the city’s only archery shop and also carry a large selection of new handguns. Our spacious store carries sporting goods, hunting gear, firearms, knives, optic, ammunition, apparel and backpacks and much more!
Mesa Verde Motel
Located in historic Mancos, this straightforward low-rise motel is 8 miles from Mesa Verde National Park and 5 miles from horseback riding at Rimrock Outfitters. Rooms include free Wi-Fi, as well as flat-screen TVs, minifridges, coffeemakers and microwaves. There’s an outdoor hot tub and a covered patio area with chairs, tables and a BBQ grill. Parking is free, and RV hook-ups are available.
Mancos Inn and Hostel
Off US-160, this down to earth inn is 5 miles from Mancos State Park and 14 miles from Mesa Verde National Park. The unpretentious accommodations range from private rooms to mixed-gender dorms. All have Wi-Fi, and some feature TVs or exterior entrances. Dorms and some private rooms have shared bathrooms. There’s also an apartment. Amenities include a shared kitchen, a reading area and a lounge with a guest computer. There’s also a garden with a fire pit and a BBQ.

We are the ideal, country style, destination park located in the heart of Mesa Verde Country, close to a variety of acclaimed attractions in and around the Four Corners area. Enjoy cedar tree-shaded sites, fire rings, grills and picnic tables. We offer spacious sites for any size RV along with special areas for tent camping and accommodations for group camping. We also have sites that can combine tent and RV camping. The surrounding mountains and national park offer fabulous views from any area of our grounds. Make yourself at home and enjoy the best camping experience nature has to offer!
Riverwood RV Resort
Frontage Roads at the RV park allow plenty of stacking distance for large pull-through rigs. Full hookup for AC/Refrigerator and water, with sewer hookup available. Dogs and pets are allowed at RV Park and campground. They have restrooms and showers, laundry facility, fresh water, lending library and camping sites.

Specializing in domestic livestock and wild game. If you haven’t tried our bacon burger you are missing out. The summer sausage and Salami is really good too!!
Four Point Meat Processing

High Desert Taxidermy
High Desert Taxidermy was opened to the public in 2004. At High Desert Taxidermy we use the best of the commercial tanneries and supply companies because that is the foundation for a quality mount. Special attention is given to anatomy and muscle structure. Form alterations are possible to achieve that special pose. Antler repair is also available. All bases and habitats are custom built to match the mount.
