Hampton Inn & Suites Rifle
Off Interstate 70 and in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, this casual hotel is a mile from downtown Rifle and 14 miles from Rifle Falls State Park. Relaxed rooms include free Wi-Fi, custom-designed beds and desks, as well as flat-screen TVs with HD channels, and coffeemakers. Breakfast and parking are free. Other amenities include a fitness center, an indoor pool and a 24/7 convenience store, as well as a business center and meeting room.
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Rifle
Off Interstate 70, this standard lodging is a 3.2-mile drive from Garfield County Regional Airport and a 13.7-mile drive from Rifle Falls State Park. The casual rooms include pillow-top mattresses, free WiFi and flat-screen TVs with HD channels, plus minifridges, microwaves and coffeemakers. Suites add separate living areas with sofabeds and/or whirlpool tubs. Kids 18 and under stay free with a parent or grandparent. Free continental breakfast and parking are offered, as well as an indoor pool, a fitness room and a business center. There’s also 1 meeting room.
Cedar Campground
Cedar Campground is one of five separate campground loops at 1,341-acre Rifle Gap State Park north of the town of Rifle and Interstate 70. The scenic campground, sitting on a blunt headland that juts into Rifle Gap Reservoir, offers 15 campsites (#55-#69) with electric hookups and shared water facilities. Three sites are pull-throughs for RVs and large trailers, two sites (#62 and #65) are ADA handicap accessible, and the others are back-in sites for small trailers, pick-up campers, and tents. Vault toilets are in the middle of the campground. A dump station is across from Cottonwood Campground near the park entrance. The road is paved and sites are level. The campground offers great views south across the lake to Rifle Gap as well as easy access to the lake
Elk Creek Campground
Elk Creek Campground has cabins RVs tent sites total 67 sites plus a large group site able to host up to 10 small tents with a covered pavilion. Trailer/RV site – all have full hook-ups, including both 30 and 50 AMP electric service, water and sewer. Both back in and pull through spots available. Tent sites – electricity at your tent site (20 out of 22 sites). Use of our bathrooms and showers in the Common building located in the middle of the campground.
Mountain Meat Packing
We clean all meat to the best of our ability before being processed, Utmost care is used in preparing your meat for the freezer. Properly caring for your meat in the field is vital. When you leave your meat please let us know when you plan to pick it up, so that we can be sure it will be ready for you. You are also welcome to call the afternoon before your departure to confirm that your meat will be ready.
