Utah Elk Hunts
Since the early ’70s, this outfitter has been providing Elk hunting in Duchesne County, Utah. Some of the hunts are held in the famous Book Cliffs area that has one of the largest herds in the state. The lands consist of rocky Cliffs, mountains, forests, cattle ranches, rolling hills, open meadows, scrub brush, rivers, and lakes. The outfitter offers a choice between fully guided hunts and the economical drop camps for the experienced hunter. These backcountry hunting grounds are accessed by horseback. Your guides will provide well-trained horses and pack animals for the excursion. Sportsmen should be prepared for the rugged terrain as some hiking is involved. Hunters will stay in heated wall tents with cots. Combination Elk and Mule Deer hunts are offered. When the hunt is complete, your guides will haul out and field dress your trophy.
Bag Limit: Two with a special tag
Hunting Dates: August – November (by State Draw)
